Acoustic Emission Mechanism in Cutting Process

  • The mechanism of Acoustic Emission phenomenon in cutting process is studied.A analytical model relating the acoustic emission signal energy content to the cutting process parameters in orthogonal metal cutting is presented.Its correction is confirmed by the result of experiments carried out in turning process.
