Abstract: Both hydraulic fracturing and borehole overcoring methods were used for in-situ stress measurement in Ekou Iron Mine. The basic principles of these two methods and a series of new techniques used in the field measurement are introduced. -Based on the measuring results,the distribution law of in-situ stress state in the Mine was established using grey algebraical curve model. The measuring results obtained by two different methods showed good agreement.
Abstract: Basic techniques for graphic user interface (GUI) are introduced.The effective method for the design of interactive interface of CAD is proposed. Multiple windows GUI is developed under the DOS environment using object-oriented and event driven technologies. The developed system has the same display style and operating rules with Ms-Windows,and it is adaptable to the computer hardware and software environments of our country.Finally a practical use is given.
Abstract: Based on the theory of elastic mechanics and fracture mechanics,the mechanism of comminution was studied deeply. It is considered that comminution was resulted from the unstable development of primary crack in particle,and the energy consumption was inversely proportional to the length of primary crack,and the length of primary crack decreased with decreasing the particle size. Finally,the relationship between energy consumption and particle size was deduced, which was suitable for whole comminution processing.
Abstract: The mixing characterstics of oxygen with pulverized coal in oxy-coal injection into blast furnace by oxy-coal lance are studied. It is found that oxygen concentration and pulverized coal concentration on the cross sections are similar to Gauss distribution, and attenuate as a power equation along axial direction of the blowpipe, and that a local oxygen enrichment area and a pulverized coal enrichment area can be formed. Futher analysis shows that the two areas are nearly match up, which can be improved by improving the structure of oxy-coal lance, and that the positions of the areas may be located by the position of oxy-coal lance.
Abstract: The reaction kinetics model of metal with nonmetal in molten aluminum is estblished on basis of the theories of kinetics and diffusion.The reaction mechanism of titanium and carbon in the Al-Ti-C system is that the TiC particles are formed through the reaction of titanium with carbon by titanium atoms towards the carbon particles and the TiC particles are dispersed by the convection of the molten aluminum. The effect of many factors, such as temperature of the molten aluminum,TiC volume fraction on the reaction rate of titanium and carbon is discussed,providing a theotical fundamentals for optimization of technological parameters.
Abstract: A study was undertaken to reveal the plane section and spatial topology distributions of austenitic grains in a low-carbon steel using the serial section analysis. The relationships between plane section and spatial topology distribution characteristics of grains were determined experimentally. Observations and comparisons were made of the distributions of number of sides of sections of grains with different number of faces as well as those of three geometric grain models.
Abstract: Both metalorganic and inorganic salt precursors were used for preparation of GH220/NiCrAlYSiHf/ZrO2-Y2O3 ceramic coatings. Effect on the structure of the Sol and the high temperature resistance of the resultant ceramic coatings were studied. It was found that although both process can be used for preparation of dense continuous ZrO2-Y2O3 ceramic coatings,only the metalorganic process can give excellent high temperature resistance to the resultant ceramic coatings. Residue acid radicals presented in the Sol may be responsible for the bad performance of the coatings prepared from the inorganic salt process.
Abstract: According to the on-line measurement techniques of deep-drawing sheet so far the principles and technologies of X-ray as well as ultrasonic on-line measurement were discussed.The key part of the techniques is to obtain the texture information.Using ODF analysis on IF steel sheet the influence of ODF expansion order lmax on the texture information was analyzed. Several technical problems appeared on the on-line measurement and the possibilities to improve the measurement accuracy were then discussed. It is believed that the method based on X-ray technique would have better future.
Abstract: The crystallographic structure and magnetic properties of R(Fe0.8Mn0.2)12 (R=Y and Nd) compounds and their nitrides have been investigatad by using X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements.It is found that both Y(Fe0.8Mn0.2)12 and NdR(Fe0.8Mn0.2)12 compounds are ferromagnetic and their easy magnetization direction (EMD) are respectively along the C-axis and the easy cone. Upon nitrogenation, the lattice parameters,curie temperatures and the satuation magnetizations are geatly enhanced.Furthermore,the EMD is changed into basal plane for Fe sublattice and turns to along the C-axis for Nd sublattice.
Abstract: Carrier injection under liquid nitrogen temperature followed by thermal stimulated current(TSC) measurements were carried out for MPCVD diamond films. TSC peaks were observed obviously for as-grown samples.The peaks,however,almost disappeared after the first heating process.Having undergone hydrogen plasma treatment at ~900℃ for 2.5 hours for one sample,the peaks emerge again. Thermal stimulated traps emptying is postulated to be the origin of the TSC peaks, and the traps are related to hydrogen implantation.These traps,which energy level located in the band gap of diamond, can be eliminated via proper heat treatment.
Abstract: The load sensing pump control system has been theoretically analgzed, and its mathematical model is established to describe dynamic characters. Based on them, simulation softwares are developed.The comparision between the theory computation and the experiment conclusios describes that the method of setting up hypothesis volume can estabish the reliabale mathematical model.It can accelerate computation speed for the fluid in the tubes to be on the basis of the concentrate parameters processing.
Abstract: Introduced the constitution of the vertical concentricity measurement. The vertical construction which can avoid deflection deformation is used. Data auto-sampling device is used in the measurement, so the sampling position is accurate and the sampling speed is high. The mathematic model of concentricity error and a advanced optimal method—"cosine shift plus" are put forward. The basis axial line formula is derived.
Abstract: The method combining the neural network with the traditional expert system is studied.A new description language for neural network knowledge representation and the concept of knowledge unit is proposed. The knowledge guides in neural network by (B-B) BP and IMSBP. And a Solving Strategy for the neural network positive and negative problem is presented. A example of the heating furnace controlled object by using the description language is given.
Abstract: The inclusion behavior in the tundish with a lime filter was investigated through the industrial trials. The results of the industrial trials showed that the inclusions were improved by 20% after the filtration. A model for calculation of the inclusion removal efficiency was established. The results drawn from the model were compared with that of the industrial trails.
Abstract: The effect of hydrogen on the cracking of type 310 stainless steel was studied by TEM in situ observation of hydrogen-charged specimens and comparison with the hydrogen-free specimens.The results show that the effect of hydrogen on the change from ductile to brittle is to prevent nano cracks in DFZs from blunting into voids.
Abstract: On the basis of the clustering analysis of corrosive factors of soil, the abilities of corrosive factors to distinguish soil corrosivity are assessed, and the main factors are selected,In the generalized space of the main factors,the disposition of the nearest neighbors for the experimental samples are analyzed and the way to predict the soil corrosivity for unknown samples is studied.
Abstract: Based on the production of horizontal continuous casting,a mathematical model of strand during solidification and cooling is set up.The relationship of the temperature field solid shell thickness and liquid core length of strand with the casting parameters(casting speed,cast temperature) are obtained in different cooling intensity of mould and different water spray quantity.
Abstract: The non-transfer metallic plasma torch and graphitic transfer injectors are used in producing nitrogen bearing stainless steel. Mixed nitrogen-argon-oxygen gas is adopted as plasma gas and alloying elements. It has been concluded that it is possible to smelt Cr-Mn-Ni steel with reproduceable nitrogen content of 0.15% to 0.3% in 30 min.The thermodynamic and kinetic conditions which affect nitrogen alloying of liquid steel are strdied,and the chemical and electric absorption phenomena are also investigated.The process conditions of strengthening diffusion and convection mass transfer are proposed to accelerate nitrogen absorption and increase nitrogen content of liquid steel.
