Abstract:
A new opaque galze with separated phases was investigated. The chemical compositions of the glaze are SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, ZnO, K2O, Na2O, etc. The over-all opaque effect of this glaze comes from phase separations in it which indicated by SEM.The opacifying effects of this glaze are resulted from the different grain size exists in glaze due to phase separation, that was explained withvitreous theory on phase separation and optical opacifying principle.
Abstract:
One of the advantages of CAS process is the more higher yield of alloy than the conventional argon bubbling process. But in practice, the yield of Al does not reach the maximum and the stability of alloy recovery are not satisfactory. These problems bring about the difficulties of CAS. operation. So theoritical and experimental analysis are given to solve these problems.
Abstract:
The molten slag belonged to the CaO-SiO2-CaF2-Na2O-Al2O3-MgO slag system is tested in the centrifugal casting with the remelted steel water, the domestic composition of the used slag is decided from the given method. The results of the experiment show that the new slag system do not produce any pollution to the steel water for pouring, the slag lining on the ingot surface is very even and thin, its thichness is only l~2mm, the surface crackle and gas hole are prevented effectively.
Abstract:
A new combined magnetizing roasting-separation-smelting process of niobium enrichment from No.2 ore body of Baotou niobium-bearing iron ore has been developed. Using magnetizing roasting-magnetic separation-plasma smelting, a kind of middle grade ferroniobium of 22%~32% Nb and Nb/P>30 has been obtained and total niobium recovery ratio is 61.l%. This combined process has great economical potential because of its shorter flowsheet and more efficient operation.
Abstract:
This paper researched the single-roll strip continuous casting. The relatimi between the strip thickness and technological factors are found by way of heat transfer mathematical model and the hot-state experiments. So technological parameters for producing good quality strip are provided.
Abstract:
Slag-making monitored control system which based on sonic level provided a useful method for steelmaking in converter. According to the sonic level in converter, the system can decide the optimum slag-making region autornatically, and show the lance hight and the information of fluxes charging in ordor to guide steelmaking operation. 5 to 10 seconds before slag overflow or slag over-viscous, the system can give an advance warning with the hitting ratio of 86.7% for slag overflow and 94.6% for slag over-viscous. In addition, the system has the function of predicting the content of. phosphorus in bath.
Abstract:
Relationship between the microstructure of Fe-Cu-C-MnS sintered steel and the process is inverstigated by using SEM microstructure observation and sintering model. it has been found that the distribution of MnS is due to it's additive method, when MnS is admixed most of MnS is distributed near the sintering neck of two Fe powders while MnS is pre-alloyed, most of MnS is inside Fe powder.
Abstract:
Microstructure of diamond films deposited by combustion flame (CFD) in the air was analyzed by transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The result showed that there are stacking faults and microtwins in diamond crystalline, which dominatly exist on {111} planes. Dislocations are also found in the diamond crystalline. There was higher dislocations density in middle of diamond crystalline than that in baundary. Finally the non-diamond type carbon impurities was found between the diamond grains in the diamond film, which are amorphous carbon and/or microcrystalline graphite.
Abstract:
The isothermal section of Y-Co-Ni ternary system at 1000℃ was determined by diffusion couple and electron microprobe techniques, supplemented by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy. Considering only solid phase regions, this section consists of eight single-phase, ten two-phase, and three three-phase regions.
Abstract:
This paper investigates systematically the effects of hot rolling finishing temperature (FT) on the microstructure and properties of an extra low-carbon and high strength bake-hardening steel sheet (that is, ELC-BH sheet). The experimental results show as follows:① The chaotic size grains formed during the steel is hot rolled finally in γ+α two phase range make r-value and plasticity of annealed sheet decrease; ② When the steel is hot rolled finally in austenitic range, formability of the sheet is improved, but its strength and bake-hardenability are weakeda little with the decrease of finishing temperature;③ it is suitable that finishing rolling is conducts at FTAr3 all effects of FT on microstructureand properties.
Abstract:
The paper established a setting target model of the automatic shape control on the cold strip mill. It based on the on-lines buckling and postbuckling analysis, with a compensation of temperature measurement across the strip width. It was acomplished on two modernized strip mill, 2030 CVC and 1250 HC, and its efficiency was proved to be superior to that of the imported model.
Abstract:
Based on our researches on High Gradient Magnetic Seperation (HGMS) and machine wear particle characteristics when wear takes place in machanical systems, the idea of applying HGMS to machine's Wear Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis (WMFD) is put forword. Then it describes a newly developed instrument——Wear Particle Monitor (WPM) as an example of HGMS's application in the field of WMFD.
Abstract:
The adaptive failure pattern classificationmethod based on neural network is presented through the study of ART-2 neural networks and it is put into application on bearing diagnosis. The results indicate that this method has recognizing abilities of fast, stable and self-adaptive response for bearing fault pattern.

The significance,design and architecture diagram of the integrated roll pass CAD/CAM system is described. The key technique of introducing hardware interface between punching machineand computer as well as introducing software interface between 3B or 4B Language and CARD system is analysed. The implementation of the integrated CAD/CAM system for cutting roll pass samples is presented in detail.
Abstract:
The intercalated pitch-based carbon fiber(CF)of high conductivity was prepared by the molten salt method with CuCl2-KCl system. In the X-ray diffraction pattern of this intercalated pitch-based CF, the width of (002) and (10) diffraction lines decreased by comparing with the pristine state. The mechanism of decrease of the widths of these diffraction lines was that the cause of high conductivity of pitch-based CF is the formation of the graphite intercalated compounds (GIC).
Abstract:
Electroplating of zinc on pipe fittings from a potassium chloride containing bath with brightener CT-2 was found to be a very good process with current efficiency of 95 pct and bright electroplate which has corossion resistance being almost the same as that of zinc electroplates on mild steel, which showed that the composition and the casting surface defaults of the pipe fittings had no significant effects on the quality of the electroplates. Therefore, electroplating of zinc on pipe fittings should be substituted for hot dipping process of zinc because the cost of zinc electroplating would be lower than that of hot dipping process due to the low er consumption of zinc and energy of the electroplating.

On the basis of successful mathematic model of LD converter and taking electromagnetic force into consideration, a model and spalding's numerical method are developed to calculate electromagnetic field and temperature field of 30t DC arc furnace with bottom electrodes. As a result, the electromagnetic field, temperature distrubution are worked out.

Analysis of experiment result of low-cycle tension-compression, torsion and tension-torsion fatigue with holding time has been done. The main factors of influencing failures of combined creep and fatigue under multiaxial stress and high temperature are re'examinated, and the simple model calculating method to predict the fatigue life are worked. It is verified that calculating method has a good practicability.
Abstract:
A kind of high temperature furnace lining energy economized coating BJ-Ⅰ has been developed. The role of the blackening agent, such as SiC, was studied. It has been found that the increment in emission ratio began to show down when the blackening agent content was more then 12%. The adhesion strength and stripping and splitting prevention measure were also discussed. The results showed that BJ-Ⅰ coating possessed high adhesion strength and tenacity. It has a protective effect on the lining and can protract the service life of the lining effectively.
