Abstract:
The expert decision support system (EDSS) for the control of ore quality in the production ore-bins of one large scale open pit iron mine has been constructed. The EDSS was integrated with the expert system (ES) developed by expert system tool software VP-EXPERT and the decision support system (DSS) developed by integrated software LOTUS 1-2-3. The ES and DSS were linked together using VP BCALL and DOS BAT.
Abstract:
The paper makes an exhaustive study on the velocity pattern and the constant velocity body of solo drawing-hole on the basis of the expected value body (EVB) drawing theory, makes up for the defect of same study on the basis of the ellipsoid drawing theory. The paper aquires an important conclusion.

The content change of N2, O2, Al in the Ti-stable stainless steel during the continuous casting process and the type, shape, composition and size distribution of inclusions were examined by means of taking samples from the ladle, tundish, mould and slab. The inclusions soure of c.c. slab and improving measures were discussed.

A calculating method of the stratiform distribution of burden material has been developed for the blast furnace.This paper,under typical charging methods of a commercial blast furnace,described the simulating results of burden materials distribution The results indicate that the calculating method has a good practicability.
Abstract:
The influence of RE and Ti on intergranular corrosion resistance of Zine-base alloys has been studied in the mediums of aqueous vapour (95℃) and NaCl solution. The results show that both of two elements additions can improve the intergranular corrosion resistance of Zine-base alloys. The compound additions of RE and Ti can greatly improve intergranular corrosion resisance, and almost eliminate the ageing phnomenon of the alloys.
Abstract:
The heat transfer in the heating chamber of the continuous Annealing and Processing Line (CAPL)is analysed and a simple method for calculating the radiation of radiant tubes is proposed. Based on the method the mathematical model of strip heating is established for the hesting chamber of CAPL in a plant. The results calculated are compared with those measured in the plant and show that the model is simple and practical.
Abstract:
In this paper,the temperature distribution of crystal,the temperature and velocity distributions of melt are calculated numerically for GaAs crystal growth with emphasis on the whole growth process from seeding,shoulder,fixed diameter to derminator growth,and the factors which influence the fluid flow and heat transfer such as rotating direction and rotating rate of crystal and crucible etc.are analyzed. Experimental results are given to compare with the calculating results. and it is found that two of them are agreement.

Based on the forming mechanism of harmful materials (NOx, SOx, CO, soot and fly ash) during combustion process,a comparison calculation is made to the pollution emission of coal-water slurry is a kind of clean fuel with lower emission.Coal water slurry can be popularized in industry and reduce pollution emission to the enviroment on large scale.

The rolling texture developments in commercially pure iron and deep drawing steel sheets were investigated by means of orientation distribution function (ODF) and quantitative fibre texture analysis. The stabilities of α and γ fibre as well as some orientation were discussed. The influences of rolling process and impurity atoms on the texture developments were also analysed.

Abstract:
A simple and convenient method is presented, which can deal with free vibration of thin plates with internal supports or concentrated masses. This is boundary element method which deal with internal integral terms. Based on the foundamental solution of the corresponding complate equation, this method can make the internal to integral to become the bounary integral. Some examples are calculated and the results indicate that the method presented here has better precision in actual engineering.
Abstract:
This paper presents a CAPP(Computer Aided Process Planning)-CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system and introduces its working procedure. The imformation of the process plan of the workpiece outputed from the CAPP is quickly translated into the CNC program. Then the CNC program can be directly transmitted to the CNC machine tool by the asynchronous data communication and automatic machining can be put into action.

This paper describes an expert (FDES) that has been designed to diagnose faults on bearings and gears. FDES is built by the following modules:Feature acquisition, Knowledge acquisition, Knowledge base management, Creating automatically meta-know-ledge, Inference engine, Explanation system and User interface. The system can perform:(a) automatical diagnosis; (b) precise diagnosis. Also, in this system,the method of fuzzy diagnosis is introduced, and the foreward and backward chaining controlled by a "blackboard structure" are used.

The fundamental principle of Internal Model Controller (IMC) is introduced.The design method of the controller when the system has unstable zeroes and poles is proposed. In the end, when the parameters are unknown or slow time-varying the self-tuning control methods are also given.
Abstract:
The oxidation behavior of Fe-25%Cr-6%Al-RE(rich Lanthanum) alloy in pure oxygen at 1 200℃ has been examined by transmission electron microscopy. It was shown:after oxidation at 1 200℃ for 2 h Lanthanum in alloy precipitated as hexagonal structure La2O3 particles at the top of α-Al2O3 grains or the grain boundaries in the oxide scale. The aluminium atoms outward diffusion and the lateral growth of the oxide scale are prenvented; during 1 200℃/room temperature thermal cyclic oxidation, rare, earth elements could speed up internal oxidation rate as alumina and lanthanum oxide appeared. A cubic La2O3 particles parallel to the grain boundaries in the alloy.
Abstract:
An experimental assembly has been set up, which was suitable for the investigation of high temperature corrosion in strong corrosive gases and the continuous weight gain measurement. The investigation of sulfidation behaviour of an Fe-25Cr ferrous alloy in H2-H2S mixed gases at 700~900℃ and 10-1~10-3Pa suphur partial pressure has been carried out. After an early slow transient period of sulfidation,the kinetics of Fe-25Cr alloy obeyed to different parabolic laws. The corrosion product comprised of an (FeCr)1-xS(x≈ 0.24,21 at%~0 at%Cr) out layer of coarse grains and a thin (CrFe)Sx innerlayer of aquiaxial grains. The sulfidation procedure was controlled by the outwards diffusions of Fe, Cr cations.
Abstract:
The effect of reanodizing techological factors on friction coefficient of lubricant anodic film was investigaed. Results revealed that the influence of reanodizing current density pH value and concentration of (NH4)2MoS4 solution on friction coefficient were all indirect. The colorness of reanodizing film was adjusted by these factors connected with reanodizing time. High temperature post-treatment, particularly in Ar2 environment, could further more lower friction coefficient. Also the mechanism of lowering of friction coefficient after reanodizng treatment was discussed.
Abstract:
In this work,the corrosion state of the Jiyuan warship sank the deep-sea bottom for 84 years has been investigated. The type of the steel used for the main parts of the warship, the metallogic organization and chemical composition of the steel, the corrosion type of each kind of steel and its reason has been determined. The law and the characteristics of the deep-sea corrosion have been preliminarily revealed.
Abstract:
A method has been developed for the determination of Cd in enviromental and biological samples by platform graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Ammonium sulphate and tris-(hydroxymethyl)-aminomethane (Tris) were employed as a chemical modifier. The tolerable pyrolysis temperature for Cd was raised to 850℃ in the presence of modifier, the sensitivity for the determination of Cd was also improved if compared with that obtained by using (NH4)3PO4-Mg(NO3)2 and (NH4)2PO4-HNO3 as chemical modifier.
