The Improvement of Ageing-resistance of Zine-base Alloys

  • The influence of RE and Ti on intergranular corrosion resistance of Zine-base alloys has been studied in the mediums of aqueous vapour (95℃) and NaCl solution. The results show that both of two elements additions can improve the intergranular corrosion resistance of Zine-base alloys. The compound additions of RE and Ti can greatly improve intergranular corrosion resisance, and almost eliminate the ageing phnomenon of the alloys.
