The technological characterstics in the thin slab casting and rolling process are introduced. Some key techniques are analyzed and discussed, which include Liquid Core Reduction (LCR), Dynamic Soft Reduction (DSR), Electro-Magnetic Brake (EBM), semi-endless rolling and ferrite zone rolling.
