  • The solidification model is set up based on consideration with mold flux as heat transferring medium. The size and width of gap due to contraction of steel in mold can be calculated,and temperature, width and state of slag film in gap are determined.The mold flux lubrication ability supports the increase of draw velocity in continuous casting.
