The Structure and Quantity of Carbides of Boiler Steel 12Cr2MoWVTiB During Service

  • By using X-ray phase analysis method, the structure and quantity change of carbides of power plant boiler steel 12Cr2MoWVTiB (Steel 102) during service were determined. The quantity of carbide MC remained basically unchanged during service. The M23C6 and M6C contents increased during the first stage of service, and then gradually grew stable after 8×104 h of service.
