Framework and prototype for B/S based 3D visualization of a mine and hazard system

  • To meet the needs of development and construction of digital mines, a Web-based framework of a mine and typical disaster 3D simulation system was designed with object-oriented design and programming methodology. This system framework consists of three main function modules:core function module, data management module, and ancillary module. With Web and visualization technology, a browser/server (B/S) based technique for a mine and typical disaster 3D simulation system was realized. After data collection from a gold mine in China and data treatment the terrain, orebody, and underground excavations were simulated with the technique mentioned above based on the B/S mode.
