Ca(OH)
2 and seven kinds of dust from the iron and steel enterprise were used to produce desulfurizers through different methods.These desulfurizers were tested in a fluidized bed reactor in the laboratory.Duration of over 95% desulfurization efficiency and the calcium utilization ratio were measured for different desulfurizers.The experimental results showed that the desulfurizer in which the Ca(OH)
2 and dust A(as additive) were mixed and then baked at a high temperature,could effectively improve desulfurization efficiency.The calcium utilization ratio could be increased from 18.2% to 70.2% and duration of over 95% desulfurization efficiency could be kept from 11 to 31 min.It proved that the desulfurizer produced by the above-mentioned method could efficiently improve the calcium utilization ratio.This demonstrates that the practical utilization of this desulfurizer for sintering gas desulfurization has great potential.
