  • A compound artificial synovia was prepared by adding Lα-dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine(L α-DPPC) riposomes and γ-globulin to a saline of sodium hyaluronate (HA),by which two kind of tribology slider pairs-PVA-PVA-H/VA-H and PVA-H/316L S. S. were lubricated, an oscillator-type tri-biometer and M2000 wear test machine were used to determine their tribology parameters respectively. The experimental results showed that the lubricating behavior of compound synovia has a significantly improvement compared to the hyaluronic acid solution alone. It's probably that these improvements benefit from the adsorbed films on the PVA-H surface composed of protein and phospholipids and the boundary lubricating ability of the additives.
