Abstract

Abstract

The effect of hot-working parameters on the ferrite grain refinement and Precipitation behavior of KQ450 steel during different controlled rolling have been investigated by means of quantitative metallography, SEM, TEM and X-ray small angle scatter analysis.The results show that heating temperature is susceptible to the ferrite grain size of KQ450 steel; the precipitated phases are NbC, VC and V(CN); With increasing cooling rate the average size of the precipitated phases decrease.
