Abstract

Abstract

The relationships between ocean corrosion of metal and the ocean environment were studied by grey relational analysis methods. Under the submergence, the main factors of corrosion for A₃ steel in ocean environment were found in accordance with grey relation grade. Neural network was applied to set a madel of ocean corrosion to A₃ steel. Then the model is used to predict the corrosion rate of A₃ steel in the new ocean environment and a satisfied result is obtained.
