Experiment Analysis of Thermal Stress in the Cooling Wall of Blast Furnace

  • The measurement result of actual strain and stress of the cooling wall in the blast furnace at high temperature state was obtained by the method of brittle coating and strain gauge line.Its showed that the stress is higher in central position than in the peripheral position because of the nonuniform distribute of water pipe.The tendency and order of calculation result is the same as the measurement.Its application leads to a new measurement method for calibrating the theory calculation result of the stress and strain.
