Model for Prediction of Erosion Profile of Hearth and Bottom of Blast Furnace

  • A model for prediction of erosion profile of the hearth and botlom of a blast furnace is established based on the analysis of the erosion mechanism of the hearth and bottom of the blast furnaces. The 1150℃ isotherm as a reference profile of the erosion of the hearth and bottom was calculated with the finite element method. The optimal working profile of the hearth canbe made by the model combined with the operative indication by the knowledge bases.
