This arcticle first introduces the sort and application of the present software on plant design. The applicable range of PDS software produced by Intergraph corporation. The paper explains:The establishment of PDS model; How to make supplement to a PDS database to apply to the blast furnace; How to settle the problem in designing of a blast furnace.
