Collected-microelectrode system is a newly developed corrosion electrochemical tool. The main advantage of it is that it may measure transient potential distribution of a corroding sample surface, this is important for the research of localized corrosion. In this paper, the designing, preparation and the problems that might be encountered in its application are discussed.
