Abstract

Abstract

In this paper, with the method of geometric conversion, thefirst contact point and it's characteristic aagle are determined when the roller gripping the stock. At the same time, an approximate formula has been studied out for engineering application. As a result, the calculating formula of the gripping force of skew-rolling processes can be put into use.
