Abstract: Presented Rock complete stress-strain curve and energy terms of rock burst,and the relation-ship between release energy and systematic potential energy in the rock burst is also obtained.
Abstract: physucal-chemistry property of ultra-fine calcinated coal kaolin particle was studied. The reason for ultra-fine calcinated coal kaolin used as basal body of the substitution of titanium dioxide was analysed by the properrty of pigment. The results showed that the properties of high white, high dioptre,low quantity of absorbing linseed oil, high covering ability of ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin are the main reason as the basalbody for the substitution of titanium dioxide. Inaddition,high adsorptive capacity and surface potential of the ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin are beneficial to adsorption of the surface modification ageent on the mineral surface.
Abstract: On the basis of studying the ratio of particle diameter/pipe diameter, turbulence intensity and multi-particle concentration, which influence critical Reynold's number of solid-liquid two-phose flow in vertical pipe, the resulted showed that sharp drop of drag coefficient and higher of particle sinking velocity were presented. In end, a minimum lifting water velocity was given for engineering design.
Abstract: A mathematical model of solidification and heat transfer for Continuous Casting slab is established on the basis of slab caster of Anyang iron & Steel Company. According to the steel grades,the slab section sizes and the casting speed,the control model can adjust secondary spray cooling zone water flow rates.The production application has verified that the water flow for secondary cooling is suitable and the quality of casting slab is good.
Abstract: Average foams life, $\bar τ$ has been presented as criterion to evaluate the foaming behavior in molten slag. Carbonate minerals as foamer, molten salt system of Na2B4O7-CaO-MgO is foamed by the gas from the heat decompostion of the foamer in laborstory. The experimental results show that the particle size and foamer type have effects upon average foams life of slag, and these effects are dependent on the behavior of heat decomposition of carbonate. Within a certain extent, the variation of concentration of CaO and MgO in molten slag both varies the physical properties of melt, and directly influences the decomposition rate and of carbonate and the bubble size of gas from decompositions, so it plays important pole in foaming and foams stability of slag.
Abstract: Based on the Similarity criteria, series water modeling experiments have been carried out to investigate the mechanisms of powder entrapment in the mould of thin slab continuous caster. SG200 hydraulic experiment system was applied to measure the wave amplitude. The main mode of the powder entraps into the steel and the influences of the technique parameter to entrap depth and mode have been obtained.

Abstract: The boundary condition of metal deformation at high temperature using experimental and FEM simulation method, and the effect of friction factor on deformation and stress of ring are studied during for-ming process. Through ring compress experiment and FEM simulation analysis, the regularity of friction can be determined and the range of friction factor in metal hot deformation can also be obtained. Maximum coulomb friction factor is around 0.4.
Abstract: The effect of atmosphere on the sintering of CaZrO3/ZrB2 composite has been studied in three kind of atmosphere. Thermodynamic analysis has indicated that at high temperature both CaZrO3 and ZrB2 thermodgnamic relation would be stable only in Ar atmosphere. The experimental results have verified the reliability of the above thermdgnamic analysis.
Abstract: The microstuccture and mechanical properties of high purity hot rolling steel containing single Cu alloying element was investigated, before and after aging annealing. It is shown that the steel has high strengthening effect and high ductility. The precipitation occurred prior to the recrystalization during aging annealing. It is believed that the new steel should have a very positive future.
Abstract: By considering the correlation of the data and the using the clustering technique of pattern recognition, the relationship among various corrosive factors of atmospheric environment has been analyzed. The results of the clustering show that the 21 atmospheric corrosive factors are clustered into five distinct clusters under the correlation coefficient value above 0.54.On the basis of the clustering analysis, the abilities of corrosive factors to distinguish atmospheric corrosivity are assessed, and the main factors are selected. In the generalized space of the main factors, the disposition of the nearest neighbors for the experimental samples are analyzed and the way to predict the atmospheric corrosivity for unknown samples is studied.
Abstract: By testing the cold-rolled extra-low-carbon light gauge sheet samples under different deformation stages and observing them by SEM, their surface pattern and the rules of the transmutation of microstructure has been researched, and the mechanism of the formation of interior holes in gliding fracture was discussed. The result pointed out that it is dislocations' slipping and gathering in original impaired locations but not inclusion and second-phase pericles that is mainly responsible for formation of micro-holes in extra-low-carbon steel.
Abstract: It was studied that the effects of technological parameters on laser welding quality of diamond saw blade and on the composition,microstrure, properties of welded seam. The results showed that satisfactory welding quality dependends on the power, velocity, laser body of laser welding, and it consists of α-Fe and γ-(Fe,Ni) composite.

Abstract: The effect of back-up roll profile on strip profile and flatness in hot wide strip rolling is analyzed and the stability of profile and flatness(ST) is put forward. The simulating results show that ST is worse to wider strip and is not influenced by other factors.
Abstract: The factors influencing on the machinability of sintered steels made of five kinds of powders with different contents were researched.The test has demonstrated that S and Mn in the ferrous powde can effectively improve the machinability of sintered steels, and the mechanism also has investigated.

Abstract: Based on analysis of three dimension layout of power conductors in DC arc furnace, a arc deflection model is established. According to the model, the arc direction of the DC arc furnace can be control-led. The principle and construction of the direction control system are proposed. The results of simulation re-search shows that arc deflection can be quickly corrected and the arc direction can be freely controlled as re-quired.

Abstract: In process control system for DC arc furnace steelmaking,modelling is a key part.Because of its complicated mechanism and nonlinearity, it is difficult to model of the process accurately. A genetic neural network algorithm is presented for DC arc furnace steelmaking process modelling and good effects are obtained in its application for real manufacture process modelling.Simulation results with actual process data are presented.
Abstract: The reason for oscillation occurring in the electrical supply system of a hot finishing mill is analyzed. The simulation results qualitatively show that either diminishing the capacity of var compensation systems in the electrical supply system or a band-passing filter (BPF) to be connected into the control system of the mill is capable damping the oscillation. The feasibility of the reconstructed two-loop control system is also analyzed tentatively.
Abstract: In continuous casting process, because mould bath level can be easily affected by many complex and uncertain factors and difficult to control, a new structure-varied fuzzy controller is proposed. In this controller, a state pattern recognition method based on an improved adjustable clustering algorithm,dual-ISODATA algorithm is used. At the fuzzy controller,quantity and the content of the fuzzy rule and mumbership function are optimized by the Genetic Algorithms. The reasoning speed and the robustness of the control systems is greatly improved.The results of the simulation are satisfactory.
