Devolopment the application of CAD technique is of great significance for advancement of metallurgical industry. CAD development should be set on the opening network system to spread the CAD technique. This peper discussed the strategy of CAD development and the support condition of to the successful in application CAD technique.
Abstract:
This paper summarizes the overall design, function, features and results of utilization of CAD system for the forging processes. The design of the forging processes of 40 kinds of forging belonging to 10 classifications has been introduced. The optimizing design of multiple stepped shaft and auxiliary management of process documents are decribed. The system is advantage of perfect expert system, great variety designed forging and high degree of complexity.

A CIMS which is composed of four-level computer system realizaed CAD,CAM, CAPP and CAPM corresponding to the system is concluded. With the help of computer system and integrated ability of technology and facility, and also based on CAD/CAM,FMS is achieved to ensure that the order requirement of each customer can be satisfied during the process of mass production. MRP-Ⅱ in this system has programmed the material supply of former section based on the principle ‘Just in time’. This system is still marching for higher level of CIMS.

The paper advises a CAD method for mining design in an underground mine in the way of automatic and interactive operation on the base of the Auto CAD package:introduces techniques of hot-key, chinese character writing, parameter input, data organization,engineering layout and tagging, entity identification, text revise, and engineering calculation.A CAD software package is developed for the underground mine design.

This paper presents a method for interactive object-oriented paramtric modelling. The method uses object-oriented modelling to generate a parmetric model with dimensional and structural parameters. The method does not uses storage of expression sequence to generate parametric model. The internal model of the model generated in the method is a parametric model itself. So the memory needed is smaller, and the modelling efficiency is higher for the method.

A CAD dynamic supervision management system of daily production reporting for underground mines using CAD techniques is established. The system makes use of CAD techniques to monitor actively the operating situations of underground mining; applies the multi-step fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive evaluation model and the grey predictive model to evaluate quickly the total effect of daily operations from the collected data of operations, to predict accurately the future development of production.
