Using on-Line data of 1700mm hot-rolling Plant of Wuhan Iron & Steel Corp. and theoritical analysis, it is obtained that heat transfer coeffient is the key to the subject. After comparisions of seven different models, the Precisest model of heat transfer coefficient is proposed. On the basis of this model, a general program which can stimulate the laminar cooling process of Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporation is compiled, and higher precision is achieved.

In this paper, an upper bound solution model For asymmetrical rolling and the relationships between its parameters are presented. Based on this model, the parameters in asymmetrical rolling process such as the curuation of sheet and the distribution of reduction can be discussed with the minimization of the deformation power. The curling of sheet due to roll speed mismatch has been calculated, the agreement in results with experiments and finite element method demonstrated the efficiency of the method presented in this paper in investigating the parameters in asymmetrical rolling process.

In this paper, the transfer function method in complex modal theory has been studied.The transfer function matrix and its residual matrices of a damped linear system are introduced. The expansion formula of the transfer function matrix is derived and proved, with which the real expressions are developed for vibration response of a damped linear system with multiple degrees of freedom. The expressions presented in the paper can be used to compute the vibration response of a damped linear system in which one or more multiple eigenvalues may exist, so the problem dealing with multiple eigenvalues is solved about the solution of the vibration response of a damped linear system. Finally one example is shown.
Abstract:
The transversal internal stress distribution in the off-line cold rolled strips sampled for a 1700mm cold tandem mill was measured by the modified hole-drilling technique. Based on the conclusions drawn from the experiment, an available method for calculation of the internal stress distribution was established, which can give fairly identical solution with the test. This numerical method for transversal internal stress calculation can be used in the on-line automatic flatness control.

The complete velocity model for plastic metal is structured with flow function.The boundary tear stress condition, which should be met by the velocity field of the Mises material plan or axisymmetrical deformation, is raised. The stress field corresponding the velocity could be obtained by the resolution of one point uniform stress and the answer for tube drawing process is ascertained with this sort of theorem.

Based on the theory of FEM and theory of Signal Analysis, Dynamic Characteristics of saw blade have been investigated, including natural frequency, mode shapes,the influences of rotational stresses on the natural frequency of saw blade and its stability. The regularities of transverse vibration amplitude of saw blade are also studied in this paper.

The gap crown between two work rolls of plate mills and the strip shape can be adjusted by axial shifting of the work rolls, both of them have a special contour. By the research on the function of the work roll contour. especially on the 3 power series function and the CVC roll contour function. a way to determine the contour parameters was found.The difference between CVC & UPC work rolls and the application of them was discussed.
Abstract:
The compress experiment of 4 aluminum alloys is made by means of a Can Plastometer with constant strain rate. The flow stress is meassured under cold deformation. 5 types of mathematic model of flow stress are analysed and compared. The effect of deformation conditions on flow stress is discussed. And the best mathematic model of flow stress is obtained.Its construction is simple, its accuracy is high, and it is suit for the use of on-line control of computer.
