Abstract:
In this paper, a simulation system on inside state of a blast furnace is given. By means of computer calculation, the system can simulate burden profile, burden layered structure, burden and gas tempemture field, and gas flow state in a commercial blast fumace. It is verified that the computer simulation system has a good practicability.

A coordinating opertimization method is worked out with the ideas and methods of systematic engineering. This method is used in the system energy saving soft-ware of the metallurgical industry. One ironmaking factory which produas 1380000 tons iron pur annual can achieve the energy saving benefit 58 120000 yuan renminbi pur annual.

An analysis of heat transfer and thermal stress for strands of horizontal casting of steel has been made. The shell thickness and maximum surface reheat of sthends are predicted at the exit of mould. The cause of forming ctacks in strands is indicated.
Abstract:
Problems related with evaluation of surface density, Svgb(ext), of "extended grain boundary" have been studied. An equation has been derived to calculate the systematic error introduced by inferring Svgb(ext) bed on the surface density of the real portion of grain boundary and the volume fraction of second phase, and three methods for direct measurement of extended grain boundary have for proposed to eliminate the systematic error Some case studies have been conducted and demonstiated that the methods proposed can avoid the inferring error and ensure the accuracy for stereological characterization of the interaction between the grain boundary and the surface of second phase.
Abstract:
Orthogonal design and variance analysis methods have been used to optimize chemical composition and heat treatment parameters for good TRIP and combination of elongation and tensile strength in low carbon low alloy silicon-manganese steels. As a result, the optimum chemical composition and heat treatment parameters have been found, an excellent combination of elongation and tensile strength(TS ×T-EL=322.33 MPa·%) has been achieved in 0.28%C-1.62%Si-1.09%Mn steel at an isothermal holding temperature of 400℃ for 3 min after heating at 790℃ for 4 min.
Abstract:
An investigation on magnetic properties of explosive consolidating amorphous powder is peiformed. The results indicate as follow:The consolidated specimen has weak magnetic properties such as low Br/Bs and μm, not easy to get saturation magnetization and high coercivity. The magnetic properties are raised obviously after short time annealing at 380℃ or 400℃. it can cause crystlization and magnetic retreat if annealing time is longer and temperature is higher. 400℃×20min and quenching by water is the best annealing process.
Abstract:
Ceramic lined steel pipe was produced by centrifugal-SHS process. Centrigugal force effects on the combustion process, the phase separation and microstructure of SHS products. Mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the ceramic lined steel pipe are good enough for practical purposes. The calculation of residual stress shows that ceramic layer is compressed by the outer metal pipe and outer metal pipe is in tension. This type of distribution of residual stress gives high resistance against thermal and mechanical shock.

A kind of adaptive neural networks control method, which is suit to deal with MIMO, has been advanced to control AFC/AGC complex system. Neual networks have adaptive and learning ability. Stimulation results show that the adaptive neural networks control have an advantage over the PID control.

The axial mechanical characters of roll system of 4-H strip mill are analyed with influential function method. The axial force of rolls caused by the non-symmetry rollling condition of roll system is discussed, besides, the effect of non-avrage force of the roll system and non-symmetry deformation on the calculating theory of axial form is studied under the condition of crossing rolls.
Abstract:
The flow stresses of four aluminium alloys have been studied using a cam plastometer. The effects of deformation temperature, strain rate and stain on flow stresses of the aluminium alloys were examined. Acoording to the analysis with regression and comparison between the mathematical models of flow stresses of five types, a mathematical model of flow stresses with great confidence of the four aluminium alloys is proposed, and its regression coefficient is also recommended.

Mechanical analysis of the barrel of the heavy hydraulic day gun is considered. A calculating formula for axial force of the barrel is obtained. The stresses of the barrel used for Baoshan General Iron and Steel Works are calculated with finite element method.

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy shows that there is Cu segregation in vacancy condensation pits below oxidation layer of Al-1.17%Cu alloy sample. This phenomenon could be explained by Cu atom-vacancy complexes inducing non-equilibrium segregation.
Abstract:
This paper discusses the design of the two principle hydraulic actuators in rolling mills:capsules for hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control(AGC) and roll bending systems for shape and profile control. The main emphasis is on the modelling and computer simulations to the rolling process. The basis of these models is presented together with some results from the simulations. These results compare well with data from test measurements.
Abstract:
Based on the fuzzy inference, a fuzzy hybrid control is proposed in this paper.This approach is applied to a peg-and-hole task using a robot with three degrees of freedom. The experiment showed that the amplitude of the vibrations could be reduced more than 95% by the approach, and the jamming was eliminated to make the task be accomplished more smoothly.

According to the basic principles of optical pyrometry, the relation between temperature-error and wavelength, emissivity is analyzed. The possibility of sensitivity improvement is presented. And the advantages and possibility of temperature-measuring in UI-the-Violet range are pointed out.

The GTR staged work state of PWM amplifer is analysed. A optimum base driving current waveform is given out. And loadamitic self-adapting technique, which adjusts base driving current according to GTR load state, is advanced. Drive circuits being designed by the technoque has worked for years and won approval. The crux of GTR control system has been solved.

Potts-Glass model improves Hopfield model. In this article, Potts-Glass model's software implementation and its application are studied. Based on this algorithm, using IBM386, the 31-cities TSP of China has been solved with language C++.The best result by now is given.

A new method to development of on-line model of coiling temperature control on the runout table was discussed. The on-line model was deduced the the analytic solution of the theoretical model. Significance tests of the structure and parameters of the on-line model have been down. Finally,a control procedure is presented. The model's reliability is proved by experimental results.

Kim B Bruce gave a system of axioms for second order logic L(Q). H J Keisler in 1977 published a book called "Model Theory for Infinitary Logit" to give a system of axioims for infinitary logic. This article combines the two ideas of the two system of axioms, applying the consistency property to give a system of axioms and model theory for infinitary second order logic Lω1ω(Q). This part of the article is mainly the proofs of Scott's isomorphism theorem and Craig interpolation theorem for Lω1ω(Q).
Abstract:
Based on experiments of low-cycle tension-compression, torsion and tension-torsion fatigue with holding time, the interactional law of creep and fatigue under multiaxial stress is proposed. And the micromechanism of equilibrium diagrams is analysed.Finally, a unite equation about fatigue life under multiaxial stress is concluded.
