Abstract: A new computer measuring system for three-dimension velocity field based on five-hole probe was developed. Many oxy-coal lances'velocity distribution in blowpipe of blast furnace under different conditions were measured in an experimental model and desired results were obtained with satisfactory due to the simple, quick and high precision measuring system.The measured results for GY-B1 oxy-coal lance in blowpipe show that the axial velocity profiles on different sections are similar to Gauss distribution and that the momentum and mass transfer near the exit of oxy-coal are very strong which is benificial to the mixing and combustion of coal and oxygen.
Abstract: A series of tests were used to study the temperature fields and heating efficiency in the model tundish to simulate the real situation in continuous casting tundish with induction heater for the Chong Qing Special Steel Plant and Cheng Du Seamless Tubing Plant.A personal computer was used in data acquisition and calculation.Based on data processing,the results were compared with that of electric slag heater.It is shown that both heating methods could prevent the tundish from temperature drop,but temperature distribution is not same.The thermal efficiency of simulated induction heater is about 80%.By the analysis of dimensionless method,the temperature distribution of molten steel in the real tundish can be deducted.
Abstract: On the basis of the coexistence theory of slag structure, mass action concentration for oxides saturated in slag melts are studied.It has been demonstrated that there is a good distribution relation between mass action concentration and activity.Considering this distribution relation, the calculated mass action concentrations for oxides saturated in slag melts agree with the measured activity well.Furthermore CaO-SiO2,MnO-SiO2,and MgO-SiO2,slag melts are discussed and the lgL~l/T,△G°(seperation free energy)~T relations are also deduced.
Abstract: The hot V slag were first oxidized ouly 10 odd min.with blowing oxygen and then were alkaline leached,the leaching ratio of V come up to 90%.Higher CFe3+/CFe2+ can be obtained in case of increasing the addition of CaO into V slag,weight ratio of MgO and slag is controlled in optimum range, and decreasing the rate of oxygen supply in blowing oxygen process,Leaching ratio of V increases major with the increases of CFe3+/CFe2+. Holding time,leaching temperature,the addition ratio of Na2CO3,and NaOH,and the weight ratio of slag and water influence the leaching ratio of V.The total leaching ratio of V increases with the oxygenation during V slag alkaline autoclave leaching and during residuel slag water leaching.
Abstract: A mathematical model of concentration in a fully developed dilute gas-solid vertical flow was developed by neglecting inert and viscous terms of radius direction.And the existing conditions of some modes of concentration distribution were obtained through the analysis of the model.Based on Hinze-Tchen formula and theory of mixing length,a mathematical model of viscosity of solid phase was gotten,and the factors that affect the viscosity were analysed by the calculation of the model.
Abstract: An effect of Ca on the hardenability,microstructures and impact toughness at room temperature of 45 steel has been investigated.The results show that a trace of Ca in 45 steel behaves towards microalloying.The longitudinal impact toughness at room temperature and hardenability are lowed by an addition of Ca.The austenite grains and interlamellar spacing of pearlite are coarsed,and some intergranular fractures have teen observed in 45Ca steel.AES analysis shows that Ca segregations markedly along austenite grain boundaries.The reasons to affect all of these phenomenons have been discussed by Casegregations on the austenite grain boundaries.
Abstract: The solidified microstructure of Ni-5% Cu alloy is researched at the cooling rate range of 13~130K/s with zone melting unidirectional solidification apparatus.It indicates that the crystals with different crystalline growth orientation have different solidified microstructures on the condition of GL-1300 K/cm,v=500μm/s.The crystals have different superfine cellular spacing due to the crystalline growth orientation with GL=1300 K/cm,v=800μm/s.The crystalline orientation has a great effect on the solidified microstructure in hyporapid solidification.
Abstract: Formulating the rational efficient methods and standards assessing the stamping class of deep-drawing sheet metals plays an important role in promoting the wide and efficient uses of sheet metals produced in China.In this paper,the methods and standards in effect assessing the stamping class of deep-drawing sheet metals produced in China were investigated.The problems existing in the methods and standards assessing the stamping class in effect were put forward.The ways developing and perfecting the methods and standards assessing the stamping class were explored.The suggestions for formulating new methods and standards have been put forward.
Abstract: It is known that the r-value of steel sheets is decreased due to galvanizing.In the paper, the influences of galvanizing coat on r-value has been investigated by tensile test, SEM examination and theoretical analysis.The research shows that the transversal cracks in the coat is the main cause of decreasing r-value.
Abstract: The key technology for producing rifled tubes is designing the shape of plug.It is diffcult to produce high quality rifled tubes by using of the straight line instead of the plug curve.Through analysis of theory,a theoretical formula is set up and achieve satisfied result through factory try out.
Abstract: The paper is based on the Bayes statistical theory to conclude the principle and method by using Monte Carle computer similation technique,structuring the reliability maximal entropy distribution under the function parameters of mechanical stress and strength.This method,by means of the counting example analysis of the cylindrical spiral spring reliability,has shown that it has the applied value in machine engineerings,and can also provide a tentative tool and theory for determining the united formal theory of distribution kinds, to calculate mechanical reliability in machine engineering area in the future.
Abstract: The stability of rolled strip is the shape criterion or predicting problem to be solved in the shape control system.The thesis established a postbuckling model to study the deformation of cold rolled strip.The deforming route of complex buckled waves involved in all kinds of appending stresses and restricted displacements was calculated.An experiment proved it was the theory for target shape setting on the "high-tech" rolling mill.
Abstract: In this paper,BP network is used to remove random noise in signal and to recognize ideal patterns.As an example,three signals,sine-wave,rectangie-wave and triguetrous wave are discussed.In the case of 50% noise,BP network can effectively remove noise in the signals and exactly fit them into their ideal patterns.
Abstract: In order to get the characteristics of roll systems,the variable rigidity elastic basis beam three dimensional finite element model is established. Using this model,the vertical and axial characters of roll systems,both in symmetry and non-symmetry rolling conditions with parallel and intersection roll states etc can be studied. Also the charaters of roll systems of some special rolling mills,such as PC,CVC and HC mills can be investigated.
Abstract: In this paper,the internal control structure of indirect self-tuning generalized predictive controller based on a Controlled Autoregressive Integrating Moving Average(CARIMA) model is presented.The closed loop dynamical behavior and robustness are analysed,The global convergence of this algorithm has also been given.The simulation example demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm proposed.

Abstract: In this paper,generalized state graph method is introduced. Generalized state graph method includes two parts,one is the generalized state graph design method,another is the state-oriented process design method.Based on traditional state graph,the concept of action node is introduced.Action node is used to represent the system action in a state transform,and the relationship among multitasks.State-oriented process design method, depending on the relationship between the elements of generalized state graph and process design,produces the process design of a multitask system from a generalized state graph directly.
Abstract: Based on Artificial intelligence(Al) and Computer Aided Design(CAD),a knowledge-based system on Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) of forging technology by LISP programming language has been developped.The empirical knowledge of forging process planning is described with productions.The reasoning of heuristics is backward chainning.The fact that calculated effects by computer are in good argeement with practice confirms that the research is successful.
Abstract: Density and surface tension of molten binary salt KCI-NaCl system has been mesured by using a new method-Differential Neck Method.The results of measurement of density agree with the accepted values very well.The results of measurement of surface tension is estimated,assuming the contact angle is equal to zero(i.e θ=0).
Abstract: In the analysis and design of practical large scale systems,the Gray Large Scale Systems(GLSS) which are consisted of several gray subsystems are often contacted.In this paper,the solution's existence and uniqueness of the GLSS dynamical equation were discussed.And a concrete criteria was given.Moreover,a concrete method was concluded in order to determine GDSS state vector.
