Slope stability analysis and optimum design in Dading open-pit iron mine

摘要: 針對大頂鐵礦露天采場邊坡巖體強度低、穩定性差的特點,在系統的現場工程地質、水文地質、巖體結構與巖性分布調查和巖石物理力學性質試驗基礎上,采用符合現代巖石力學原理的數值模擬和極限平衡相結合的方法,進行邊坡穩定性和設計優化研究,并推薦了該礦的邊坡設計方案.總體邊坡角比原設計平均提高3°以上.Abstract: The slope of Dading open-pit iron mine in south China has the characteristic of low rock strength and bad stability. Its basic information on engineering-geological conditions, hydro-geological conditions and rock mass structures together with physical and mechanical properties of rock mass was derived from systematical field and laboratory investigations, experiments and tests. Stability analysis and optimum design were done for the slope by using a combined method of numerical modeling and limit equilibrium analysis. The slope angle increases more than 3° compared with the original design.
