Temperature Effect on Thixoforming of Spray-formed 7075 Alloy

摘要: 采用Gleeble-1500熱模擬機,對原位反應噴射成形7075+TiC鋁合金進行半固態壓縮變形,通過掃描電鏡觀察其變形后縱橫截面的組織,用Imagetool軟件及平均截線法統計晶粒尺寸.研究表明,晶粒尺寸隨著變形溫度的升高而增大,對應580-620℃的變形溫度,晶粒尺寸分布范圍為10-21μm;當變形溫度為610℃,變形速率為1 s-1時,合金表現出良好的半固態觸變成形性能.

Abstract: Unilateral compression tests on spray formed 7075+TiC Al alloy at semi-solid state were carried out using a Gleeble-1500 dynamic material testing machine. The microstructures of vertical and cross sections of the specimens after deformation were observed by SEM, and the grain size was measured by a mean linear intercept method. The relationship between the deformation temperature and grain size was analyzed. The results indicated that the grain size increased with the increase of deformation temperature and distributed in 10-21 μm at 580-620℃. When the deformation temperature was up to 610℃ with a deformation rate of 1 s-1, the alloy revealed advantageous thixoforming performance. -
