Solid State Hot Pressing of SiC Ceramics

摘要: 以α-SiC粉末為起始原料,B和C粉末為助燒劑,采用適當的熱壓燒結工藝,在1950℃,25MPa條件下獲得了相對密度為97.8%的α-SiC塊體陶瓷.其抗彎強度和斷裂韌性值分別為383MPa,4.95MPa·m1/2.并初步研究了致密化機理.Abstract: α-SiC ceramic was obtained by hot-pressing of α-SiC powders with B and C as additives. The relative density of the materials is 97.8%, which was hot-pressed at 1900℃ and 25 MPa. The values of the flexural strength and fracture toughness reached 383 MPa and 4.95 MPa·m1/2 respectively.The densification mechanism was deduced.
