Effects of Electromagnetic Stirring on Solidification Structure of Spring Steel Castings

摘要: 利用金相觀察了電磁攪拌對彈簧鋼60Si2Mn凝固組織的影響情況,并討論了形成機制.結果表明:在凝固過程中進行電磁攪拌,引起熔體的強烈流動,使液相區的溫度場和溶質含量趨于均勻;凝固時奧氏體的一次臂生長速度減慢,消除彈簧鋼60Si2Mn一次結晶組織中發達的柱狀樹枝晶層;而且隨著攪拌功率的加大,彈簧鋼一次結晶奧氏體的粒化或非枝晶化(nonden一drite)程度提高:電磁攪拌使彈簧鋼凝固的晶核增多,一次結晶組織得到細化.Abstract: The influence of electromagnetic stirring on the solidification structures of the spring steel castings or ingots has been investigated. The experiments have shown that the large columnar dendric austenitie formed in a conventional unstirred castings can be substituted by fine equiaxed grains or dedendric grains when stirred with electromagnetic field for a short time. The higher stirring power, the more spherical or dedendritic the austenite was obtained. The amount of austenite nucleation increased and austenite grain become finer in stirring castings.
