Effect of Electromagnetic Stirring on the Primary Austinite in the Semi-Solid Cast Iron and Spring Steel

摘要: 研究電磁攪拌對半固態鑄鐵初生奧氏體和彈簧鋼鑄態組織的作用.研究表明:鑄鐵在凝固過程中,經過短時間的電磁攪拌,粗大的初生奧氏體枝晶就可以被破碎細化,而且隨著攪拌功率的加大,初生奧氏體更加球狀化或非枝晶化;經過電磁攪拌,引起鑄鐵熔體的強烈流動和溫度起伏,加速了初生奧氏體枝晶二次臂的熔斷和一次臂的縮短,最終使樹枝狀初生奧氏體轉變為球狀的初生奧氏體.研究還表明:電磁攪拌可以明顯細化彈簧鋼的柱狀枝晶,代之以細等軸晶.Abstract: The effects of electromagnetic stirring on the primary austenite in the cast iron and as-caststructures of the spring steel was studied.The experiments had shown that the primarily large austenitic dendrites can be fined when stirred by electromagnetic field for a short time and the higher the stirring power,the more sphercal or dedendritic the primary austenite,and that the fluid flow and temperature fluctuation of the melt may be induced by stirring,and accelerate the remelting of the second arm and decrease of the length of the first arm so that the primarily dendritic austenite is changed to spherical shape finally.That the column dendrites of the samples of spring steel can be also fined by the strong electromagnetic stirring and changed into fine equiaxed grains.
